Southside Broadcasting – Your Chance To Stay Current On The Rural, Lifestyle And Health Issues You Care Most About…
…Because putting you “in-the-know” is important to us.
So much so that we’ve been at this “radio thing” since 1981 – not that we’re counting or anything.
We might have met already… maybe we bumped into you at one of our many health exhibitions we put on at the James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, England… or perhaps you’ve discovered us via our broadcast partners Radio Hartlepool or SirenFM at the University of Lincoln
But however you got here, Welcome – take a look around – a good place to start is www.southsidebroadcasting.com where you can access our podcasts. One listen and you could just find our passion for the great outdoors… for health and well-being… runs as deep as your own.

Summer officially launched with 16th Health Fair
With top complimentary therapists, quality nutritional advice & the usual cornucopia of good stuff , the sixteenth Southside Health Fair effectively launched the Northern Summer season- well at least acting as a superb h`ors d`oeuvres for next week`s Lincolnshire Show & the July Great Yorkshire Show. With a magnificent seven Southsiders on ambassadorial duty, whilst Jon Ferguson took up an early studio berth as warm-up for `The Chaos Theory` with Andrew Snaith, the range of exhibitors and contacts was well up to par. Recent Honours Graduate in Music from Oxford Brookes University & top York correspondent Catrina Lakin ( congratulations Catrina ) took up her tasting duties with aplomb, whether vegetable with River Swale organic vegetables , fruit with seasoned tomatoes , or sweet , ably guiding newbie Owen Corrigan through the process. The amazing Shelagh Jones not only coordinated the event with effortless style but also found time to discuss catering matters with Georgina . Even Lloyds/TSB put in a brief appearance !. With harpist extarordinaire Liz Westhead www.harpsinheather.co.uk on hand to provide coaching for both Catrina & David Eagle , it was no suprise that Dulcie Brown ( Tres Jolie Bags & Chimes ),Ecoflow Distributor Alison Pride, Decoupage card expert Rosemary Billington & Chocs Away with Tracy Hart were on top form. Adding Bush Essentials www.bushessentials.co.uk with Ann Clement, The Sweet Shop World with Graham Ventom, Dorothy Ditchburn`s magnetic jewellery AND The Bowen Technique as demonstrated by Judith Watson & Norman Ogden www.smart-therapies.co.uk to the mix, together with Reverse therapy specialist Lyn White www.northeast-reverse-therapy.com ,Busy Beeder Sue Meredith , Margaret from The Body Shop at home, Revenue & Customs advice from Gill Prouse & Aloe vera`s distributor Christine Elstob all provided for a superb event .
