The 2006 Great York Dragon Boat Challenge - a fantastic event organised by the Rotary Club of York in aid of `Our celebration`-(Charity number 1006759),York and District Mind (Charity Number 1037603) & York Blind & Partially sighted Society (Charity Number 508914 ) with dseignated teams for other worthy causes ( www.yorkrotary.co.uk ) and a perfect Northern rejoinder to the henley Regatta ! As always good to see the high glamour quotient of the team`s supporters is fully up to speed ! Meanwhile on the other side of the river some of the fine charities which benefitted from the event were rightly out in full force.
