Hello All, Well some 30 hours have just sped by in such a whirlwind of experience and interest that I am so grateful to you all without whom this visit would not have been. I will try to send some of the still photos of the sanctuary the animals and the staff that do such an amazing job out here though my computer skills do not improve and neither it appears does my photography so it may take some time to do so. In the short time I have spent here I am already realising that much of my assessment of animal welfare is based on my own concepts of 'normality' or traditional husbandry practices that I accept as normal. The reality here has already made me re-assess some of those concepts
I shall endeavour to send fuller reports in the fullness of time but at this stage I would like to thank William Hill and El Al for getting me and my luggage here.
